1. Introduction

Welcome to Verdictr ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Verdictr at verdictr.ai, including its answer, verification, research, file-processing, file-generation, history, and sharing features (the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we may collect your email address, name, account identifiers, plan information, and authentication-related data.

Prompts, queries, and verification materials. We process the questions, instructions, answers, claims, evidence, URLs, and other materials you submit to the Service.

Uploaded and generated files. If you upload files or use Create File, we process the files and their contents and may store generated documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, and related metadata in your History.

Usage and technical data. We may collect information about feature usage, pages visited, actions taken, session information, browser or device information, timestamps, and diagnostic data.

Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by third-party payment providers. Verdictr does not store full payment-card details.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide ANSWER, VERIFY, CREATE FILE, research, and related Service features;
  • route requests to the models, search systems, file processors, and rendering systems needed to complete a request;
  • store account History, uploaded files, generated files, and user preferences where applicable;
  • operate subscriptions, usage limits, billing-related features, and account support;
  • maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve reliability;
  • send transactional communications such as account, security, billing, and password-reset messages; and
  • understand product usage and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

Verdictr relies on third-party providers to operate parts of the Service. Depending on the feature you use, information necessary to fulfill your request may be sent to one or more providers of AI models, web search, file extraction or OCR, document or presentation rendering, cloud storage, hosting, payments, email delivery, security, or analytics.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. The providers used for a particular request may change as Verdictr's routing, reliability, and product capabilities evolve. Do not submit information that you are not authorized to disclose.

5. Files, History, and Share Links

Uploaded files, generated files, and completed results may be stored so that you can access them through History. Retention may depend on your account, plan, product settings, or applicable operational and legal requirements.

If you create or use a share link, anyone who has that link may be able to view the shared result. Treat share links as public-by-link and do not share them with people who should not have access to the result.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information and Service data for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain History and account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Service. If you request account deletion, we aim to remove or de-identify associated personal data within 30 days where reasonably practicable, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud- prevention, and accounting requirements.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and session continuity. We may also use analytics technologies to understand how the Service is used. Browser controls may allow you to limit cookies, although doing so can affect functionality.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect information. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • access personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of your account and associated personal data;
