Terms of Service

Last updated: October 3, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Verdictr at verdictr.ai (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Verdictr is an AI-assisted research, verification, and file-creation platform. Depending on the selected feature, the Service may answer a request, analyze or verify claims and evidence, perform calculations or research, process uploaded materials, generate files such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs, store results in History, and create shareable links.

Verdictr may use multiple models, tools, search systems, and other service providers internally. The exact processing path may vary by request and may change over time.

3. User Accounts

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and activity under your account. Notify us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
  • submit content you are not authorized to process or disclose;
  • generate, distribute, or facilitate illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activity;
  • attempt to bypass access controls, quotas, subscription restrictions, or security measures;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • scrape or systematically extract Service data in an unauthorized manner;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
  • use the Service to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.

We may restrict or suspend use that violates these Terms or threatens the Service or other users.

5. AI, Verification, and Research Limitations

AI-generated or AI-assisted output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading. Verification and research features are designed to improve reliability, not to guarantee truth or completeness. Search results, citations, calculations, extracted file content, and generated files can also contain errors.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, especially for medical, legal, financial, compliance, safety, employment, or other high-impact decisions. Verdictr is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.

6. User Content and Generated Output

As between you and Verdictr, you retain your rights in prompts, uploaded files, instructions, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant Verdictr a limited license to host, process, transform, transmit, and store User Content as necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the Service.

Subject to applicable law and any third-party rights, you may use generated outputs and files for personal or commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of User Content and output does not violate law, confidentiality obligations, or third-party rights. Similar or identical output may be generated for other users.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party AI, search, file-processing, rendering, hosting, storage, payment, and other providers. Their availability, models, features, and terms may change. Verdictr is not responsible for third-party services outside our control, and use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Files, History, and Sharing

The Service may store uploaded files, generated files, and completed results in your History. Storage, file-size limits, generation limits, and retention periods may vary by plan.

If you create or distribute a share link, anyone with that link may be able to access the shared result. You are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom.

9. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Paid plans may be billed on a recurring basis until canceled. Prices, included usage, limits, and plan features are shown in the Service at the time of purchase and may change for future billing periods with appropriate notice where required.

You may cancel a subscription at any time, and access ordinarily continues through the end of the current paid billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law.

10. Service Changes and Availability

We may add, remove, modify, or discontinue features, models, integrations, file formats, limits, or other parts of the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a particular model or provider will always be used.

11. Verdictr Intellectual Property

The Verdictr name, branding, software, interfaces, design, and original Service materials are owned by Verdictr or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to Verdictr trademarks or proprietary technology except as necessary to use the Service.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk, nonpayment, legal requirements, or material harm to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service or request account deletion by contacting support.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, complete, unique, fit for a particular purpose, or free from errors, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or always available.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verdictr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verdictr's aggregate liability for a claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Verdictr during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Before commencing formal proceedings, you and Verdictr agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve disputes directly where reasonable.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice of material changes where appropriate. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
